The Burwell Annual Parish Meeting is to be held on Tuesday 7th May 2019 at Mandeville Hall. There will be an opportunity to talk to the newley elected Councillors, find out about Parish Council activity in the last year and the plans for 2019/2020 from 7 pm.  The formal meeting will start at 7.30 pm.  ALL WELCOME.

East Cambridgeshire District Council in exercise of its powers under section 59 of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 and under all other enabling powers has made the following Order known as:

East Cambridgeshire District Council Public Space Protection Order Dog Fouling 2018

The Order applies to all public places in East Cambridgeshire District Council including roads, footpaths, pavements, allyways and towpaths, all grass verges, and parks and open spaces including wooded areas.  For this purpose, a 'public place' means any land to which the public has access, on payment or otherwise, as of right or by virtue of expressed or implied permission.

Do you walk along Rights of Way?

If you do and you come across something that needs attention such as a blocked path, overgrown vegetation etc.  you can report this directly to the Rights of Way Officer at Cambridgeshire County Council using the following link:

Dial-a-Ride - The monthly trip to Ely, on the first Thursday of the month will continue through out the year, although the service will now be provided by the Voluntary Network based in Newmarket.  Seats can be booked by contacting the Voluntary Network on 01638 664304.  You will need to be a member of the Voluntary Network, but they will give you the details about this when you book.
