Parish Clerk

Katherine joined the Council in 2024 as the new Parish Clerk. The Clerk's duties are very varied including the minuting of Council meetings, writing and distribution of meeting agendas, managing the Council staff, leading on Council project work and doing the general and legal administration of the Council. Katherine is working towards her Certificate in Local Council Administration qualification. 

Sarah Ashby

Assistant to the Parish Clerk

Sarah joined the team in 2019 and assists the Clerk with the day-to-day running of the Council. Her main responsibilities include dealing with the administration of the burial grounds, hall bookings, allotments, tennis court bookings and the football pitches. 

Yvonne Rix

Responsible Finance Officer

Yvonne has been working for the Parish Council since 1998 and took over the role of Parish Clerk in January 2014. In July 2024 Yvonne retired from the role of Parish Clerk but continues in the position of RFO - Responsible Finance Officer. Yvonne is a qualified Parish Council Clerk having gained the Certificate in Local Council Administration is 2009. She is responsible for all Council financial matters.

George Rowland

Maintenance Officer

George started working for the Council in 2014 and carries out the general maintenance of the Council's property. His main duties include, the general upkeep and maintenance of both the Cemetery and Recreation Ground. He carries out visual checks on all play areas at least once a week and regularly empties litter bins owned by the Parish Council.

Facilities Supervisor

Debbie has been with the Council since 2009. She is responsible for the opening and closing of the halls for bookings. Debbie is also designated as our Premises Supervisor (Licencing) for both Mandeville Hall and the Gardiner Memorial Hall. 

Martyn Wright

Assistant Facilities Supervisor

Martyn shares the Facilities Supervisor role with Debbie and covers for her on the days when she is not working. Martyn has been with the Council since 2017.
